TutorialHow do I launch a Google AdWords campaign that I created?

In order to launch a campaign that you have created, go to your Google Advertising widget main page, find the list of campaigns you have created, and just click play on the campaign you wish to launch. The campaign will be sent to moderation, and once we have checked that everything is ok, the campaign will be launched on Google.

 

 

Why my campaign is pending moderation & what are Google Advertising policies?

Google has set a list of rules under their Google Advertising policies, to ensure that all ads are appropriate, honest, legal and safe. As such, all campaigns launched on Google go through a moderation stage to ensure that your ads meet these requirements.

What is the difference between Pausing and Stopping a campaign?

Pausing a campaign will pause the delivery of your ads and the spending of your campaign budget. Please note statistics might take between 2 to 5 hours to update, therefore the actual spent budget of the campaign might be higher than what you see at the moment of pausing the campaign.

When a campaign is paused, you can restart it at any time. If you have performed edits to your campaign, clicking the play button to relaunch it will send the campaign to moderation one more time.

Stopping a campaign on the other hand, will stop the delivery of your ads from the campaign for good. The unspent budget in your campaign will be returned to your virtual balance, as soon as the final statistics of the spent budget are collected from Google. Please note that this might take up to 24 hours.

When a campaign is stopped, you can click on the refresh button to edit its settings and re-launch it. The campaign will be pending moderation and launch as soon as it is approved.

Why can’t I edit my campaign while it is running?

Editing is not possible while the campaign is running, since any edit needs to be approved on moderation.

If you wish to edit your campaigns settings, pause your campaign first. Once you have edited its details, you can launch the campaign again clicking the play button, and the campaign will be sent to moderation for approval.

What happens if I delete a campaign?

Deleting a campaign will delete it from your advertising panel. Note that all statistics and data about this campaign will be deleted and won’t be accessible anymore.
