Additional Settings

What is a negative keyword?
You can configure additional settings such as using negative keywords to help prevent ads from showing up on searches with words or phrases that are not suitable for your business.

For example, if you sell flower bouquets, the request for “DIY bouquet” will not attract the right clients, since those users want to create the bouquet themselves, without your business. In this case, the negative keyword phrase will prevent search engines from showing ads on search questions that contain “DIY bouquet.”
What devices can I select what users will see my ad?
In additional settings, you can select what devices you want users to see your advertisements on. Automatically, your campaigns target all types of devices, including computers, tablets, and mobile devices.

If you only want to target a specific audience or device, you can specify which devices you want your ads to be displayed on. Remember, if you choose to display your advertisements on mobile devices or tablets, make sure your website is optimized for those screen sizes.

If not, it is better to avoid those devices because the lack of a responsive website will give your business a bad reputation and you will lose a lot of sales. To determine if your site is optimized for mobile devices, we recommend testing it here https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly. It will one minute to check.
What is maximum CPC?
Maximum CPC, or maximum cost per click is the maximum amount you are willing to pay for a single click on your ad, or for one visitor to your site. In most cases, the actual cost per click will be less than the maximum CPC and will never be higher than it.

The search engine will automatically select the minimum sufficient CPC to display your ad, ensuring the maximum number of clicks within your budget.
