Get Everything Urgent Done Before Lunchtime!

Clear Up the Rest of Your Day to Get Ahead.

How cool would it be to get all of the most important and routine business related tasks done before lunchtime? If you agree it sounds pretty epic and would like to know how then this article is for you.

We’ve gathered some tips from an expert marketer called Neil Patel, who is also a founder of several successful Internet-based companies and has insights to share.

TIPS BY NEIL:

1. Plan your day in the evening. If you get into the office first thing in the morning and have no idea where to start or what is first in line on your list of tasks, how should you expect to get everything done? However, make sure you remain realistic. Don’t plan on conquering the world before your lunch break.

2. Declutter. Clutter can be distracting. Whether in the office, in your personal life, in your wardrobe or anywhere else, it will prevent you from focusing properly. A note with the words "Urgently call Bob!" can spoil the whole day if it goes missing.

3. Wake up early. To have all the time you need to make this happen, you need to wake up on time! The ideal time for you to wake up will be at any point between 5:30 to 6:30 in the morning. This will, of course, largely be determined by the time you set for yourself to get to bed as a good night’s sleep is essential.

4. Get active! Physical activity is necessary to achieve high productivity in intellectually demanding occupations. Only for the first few times of waking up at 5:30 am you will feel lucky if you don’t fall asleep at the wheel. After several days your body will adjust and physical activity will keep you energized throughout the day.

5. 20 minutes. Give yourself some time to recover in the workplace when you first arrive. Just make sure not to get carried away and spend the entire morning procrastinating on the web.

Good luck everyone! Stay motivated.
