Having worked with thousands of small and medium businesses in different markets, we have reworked our payments & billing model significantly and released the new model on August 1, 2016. You can read below to learn what the changes we made and what insights have driven us to apply these modifications.

NEW SUBSCRIPTIONS

After deep thinking and analyzing of the Solomoto tools and the usage experience of our customers we decided to split our subscriptions into 3 different categories which would provide 100% flexibility for all of our users. The three types of subscriptions we created are:

1. 1. Basic

2. 2. Website

3. 3. Store

 

Basic subscription

For those who want to start managing their social media presence and online promotions independently - this plan will include the use of our “Manage posts in social networks”, “Social media campaigns launcher” and “Google campaigns launcher” tools. As always, you may find all the additional benefits in Solomoto such as free high quality images, ready-made texts for your posts and media campaigns. These are available in the Basic subscription at no extra charge.

Website subscription

For business owners who, in addition to all of the above, are interested in creating and managing a website with Solomoto – our Website subscription will include all of the features previously mentioned in our Basic subscription, plus a Website Builder which allows you to create and manage sophisticated websites of multiple pages as well as Landing Pages all directly within the Solomoto platform.

Store subscription

For you shop owners or service providers who are eager to sell online and in social media – we will include all of the aforementioned features from our Basic and Website Builder subscriptions, with the additional tools needed for eCommerce. Our Store Builder Module will provide you with all you need for the creation and management of your online-store and a store in social media. It will also have tools for analyzing and keeping track of your sales – all within Solomoto.

We also slightly reworked subscription fees to give our users the best tools out there at 100% affordable prices. Learn more about our fees below.

NEW SUBSCRIPTION PLANS: PAY AS YOU GO, MONTHLY & YEARLY PLANS

We are introduced a 3-tiered model of subscriptions to the Solomoto platform. You can now choose the one that suits your personal interests and aspirations the best.

Pay As You Go

For business owners who want to be in full control of all of their spending and expenses – this subscription fee is charged on a daily basis, with no commitments needed on your part for longer periods of time.

Monthly and Yearly Plans

These subscriptions are highly recommended for those who want to ensure all of the Solomoto tools will work for them for longer durations and won’t be deactivated under any circumstance.

Monthly subscription

When signing up for our Monthly subscription plan, you will save over 30% on your Solomoto Subscription compared to the price of our Pay As You Go plan. It is available for PayPal and Credit Cards alike. The Monthly subscription is also a recurring subscription – your subscription fee will be billed each month directly from your PayPal account or Card you used to pay for your first month, meaning you don’t have the headache of worrying to pay on time or lose your subscription if you forget to renew it.

Yearly subscription

The Yearly subscription is by far the most cost-efficient, saving you a whopping of over 50% of the original price rendered for our Pay As You Go plan. In addition to saving you a fortune, it is also available for all payment options. For PayPal, your payment will be automatically charged each month on a recurring basis, in the same way as the Monthly plan. When selecting an alternative payment method, you will be charged a one time payment for you first year.

NEW SUBSCRIPTION FEES

Subscription fees are dependent on 2 factors:

 

 

1. 1. The type of subscription determined by tools: Basic, Website or Store

2. 2. The time period you choose: Pay As You Go, Monthly or Yearly

 

 

TRANSITION PERIOD FOR EXISTING USERS

As the new structure of Solomoto subscriptions differed from the prior plans being used, we ensured a smooth transition process to see that all of your tools kept working.

All users have automatically been converted to our Pay As You Go subscription plans, since this is the plan which is most similar to the ones used previously and provide subscribers with full control of their balance. Note: We then had a period of stabilization of around 2 weeks after which they could switch to any other subscription plan – Monthly or Yearly.

As for the tools which were enabled in your subscription – the transition was be done by the following rules – depending on your previous subscriptions and tools usage:

 

 

Bonus! If you used only Media (launched campaigns in social media or Google) and you had no subscription enabled before August,1 we will enable our Pay as You Go – Basic subscription for you at special conditions – with a 3 months free trial mode. This is exactly the time needed to get used of the new payment model and feel 100% safe in your Solomoto usage.

EXTRA BONUSES

All Solomoto customers are our trusted partners and we want to praise those relationships by way of special bonuses. Starting August, 1, 2016 you’ll be able to get bonuses every time you deposit funds to your Solomoto balance.

How does this work?

When making a deposit, you’ll see the next threshold which would give you a bonus option.

The bonuses are:

Get a $10 bonus in total for deposits of $50

Get a $20 bonus in total for deposits of $100

Get a $40 bonus in total for deposits of $200

After you finish making your deposit, your Solomoto balance will be automatically increased by the bonus amount corresponding to your initial deposit.

Note: in the case of a Monthly or Yearly subscriber, the subscription fee is not included in the base for bonus calculation.

RECURRENCE MODE (PAYPAL)

You will now have the available option of paying for your subscription on a recurring, automatic basis. This is an extremely useful feature for ensuring that your tools will work continuously and won’t be deactivated. Recurrence is available for our Monthly and Yearly plans only and only when paying for your subscription using PayPal or a Credit Card.

Note: If you pay for the Monthly or Yearly subscriptions with PayPal or a Credit Card, your payments for the subscription will occur automatically on a regular basis. This means that after each subscription period ends (a month or year, corresponding to your subscription plan choice) we will automatically bill your PayPal account or the Credit Card you used to pay with PayPal for the subscription fee according to the plan which is activated in your business account.
